I am most happy when I am making stuff, whether it is "high art" or crafts. I love them both. I am a mixed media artist working largely with paper in many, many ways. I garden and teach art appreciation and a little art history at a small state college.

I am politically liberal and that does get reflected in my art. I strongly believe that the personal is political and vice versa. I believe in the power of art to transform and to uplift.

I blog because I meet others that way and I believe life is about relationship first and foremost.
